As you would expect, the Society for radiological Protection is delighted at the decision of the IRPA General Assembly in Buenos Aires to select Glasgow as the venue for the IRPA 13 Congress. Congrex worked with me for two years, in my capacity as President of ISSTDR, in helping to organise the 18th Meeting of the International Society for Sexually Transmitted Diseases Research (ISSTDR), London 28 June – 1 July 2009, held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference centre and attended by approximately 1300 delegates worldwide.
They did a fantastic job with the exhibition and space was sold out - something that has never happened before at this meeting, which is held every two years. They worked well with the sponsors.
I genuinely enjoyed working with them; they are very personable and easy to deal with, and I can honestly say they became like friends.
